A public attorney based in Chicago, Illinois, John Heintz is the co-founder and senior legal consultant for Lydian, Inc., a management consulting firm that specializes in sustainability, organization design, human capital organization, and information technology. Since its launch in 2013, the Chicago firm has doubled in growth in the fiscal years of 2014 to 2015, and also advised two international organizations through the start-up process. During this time, John Heintz also served as chief legal officer and assistant superintendent for operations of Niles Township High School District 219 in Skokie where his accomplishments included reducing spending growth from 40 to 8 percent over six years.
John Heintz has teaching experience as an adjunct professor at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago and served as the English editor for the Leiden Journal of International Law based out of the Netherlands. Before earning his J.D., he taught English at a variety of schools, including the American School of Paris in France and Niles North High School in Skokie. He earned a M.A. in English literature and queer literary theory from Northwestern University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a JD from the John Marshall Law School.
